Denair Elementary Charter Academy

Fifth grade students have the opportunity to run for Student Council in the fall of each year.  Office positions include president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and historian.  Student council also includes class representatives from third and fourth grade classes that are chose by their classroom teacher.  Student council organizes, leads, and participates in a variety of activities throughout the year.  Some past activities include: painting the paw prints and USA maps on campus, participating in the Homecoming parade, helping to build the DUSD float for the Turlock Christmas parade, selling holiday grams, helping with daily announcements, and purchasing and installing campus fence art.  Student Council advisors are Mary Prine and Kirsten Sweeten.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Prine at mprine@dusd.k12.ca.us or Mrs. Sweeten at ksweeten@dusd.k12.ca.us.
