DECA enrollment is now fully online!
Give your child a strong start at Denair Elementary Charter Academy (DECA)—where curiosity is

The Denair Unified School District warmly welcomes new families and young learners! Enrollment
is now open for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten at DECA. Whether you live in
Denair or a surrounding community, our doors are open to you.

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten (Current School Year) title
DECA proudly offers two educational pathways: a Traditional program and a Dual Immersion (Spanish) program starting in Kindergarten. Our programs are designed to support the whole child, combining social-emotional learning and play-based instruction to nurture both academic and personal growth. We create a warm, inclusive community that fosters a supportive, engaging environment where every child can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Eligibility for TK and Kindergarten:
- Transitional Kindergarten (TK): Children who turn five years old between September 2, 2025, and September 1, 2026 are eligible for TK. Essentially, all children who are four years old by September 1, 2025, will be eligible to join TK.
- Kindergarten: Children who turn five on or before September 1, 2025 are eligible for Kindergarten.

Documents Needed for Registration

Documents Needed for Registrationtitle
The following documents are required to register your child:
- County-issued Birth Certificate
- Current and up to date Immunization Records
- Proof of Residence e.g. current utility bill, telephone bill (landline only), home internet service bill, home mortgage payment or rental agreement that shows property address.
- All bills/statements must be recent, have the parent/guardian's name and show the property address.
